Contexts have changed since its construction; geopolitical, societal, ... It's functioning is changing. This results in many matters being absent from the building: past lives, practices, objects, instruments. But traces of them can be found. Holes, lay-outs, stories, scratches. A listing of traces and what they refer to.
- Bedrock squares in basement -> placement of seismograph (correct this please:-) )
- Slits in domes with rolling shutters -> where telescopes were looking through roof
